Geocasting for Hyper Resolution Spatial Data Focusing
GEOHYPE is a project funded by the French ANR (National Agency of Research) under the JCJC program (Jeunes Chercheurs Jeunes Chercheuse) for young researcher (up to 10 years after PhD).
The goal of GEOHYPE is to develop techniques that enable base stations to wirelessly broadcast information to specific geographical areas only. The novel approach introduced in GEOHYPE is named Spatial Data Focusing and aims at outperforming beamforming by exhibiting higher angular selectivity.
